Just imagine if you had to experience your own death to discover yourself. The problem would be that you would remain dead which would render your realized being useless.

Baroque is a dark gothic & post-apocalyptic dungeon crawler. The objective of the game in to get to the bottom of the dungeon which is called the Neuro Tower. As you guide your nameless, mute, and amnesiac protagonist through the Neuro Tower, you will realize that the tower floors are randomly generated with the majority of the layouts changing each time the you venture inside. Also, death in Baroque does not result in a game over screen, but advances the plot, unlocking cutscenes, new areas, and comments by the non-player characters.

All in all, Baroque has a special spot in my heart. I really love the dark gothic atmosphere and exciting soundtrack. "Groan of Metal" is my favorite of the game.
