Sho Love (You Survived It) - ShoreShot feat. EWald and ROBMS Chorus - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 20, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
In response to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy on the communities along the New Jersey coastline, two local Jersey Shore performing artists joined forces with a middle school chorus on a relief project that is "shore" to warm your heart and soul. Patrick "ShoreShot" Whelan (Brick, NJ) Erich Wald (Waretown, NJ) and the ROBMS chorus (Barnegat, NJ) spoke on behalf of all storm-affected NJ neighbors when they recorded "Sho Love", a song which calls for all those who hear it to show love to Hurricane Sandy victims.

Jersey Shore town families and businesses continue to suffer in the aftermath of Sandy's perfect storm, and "Sho Love" will be a sustained instrument of awareness and relief for those in need. All proceeds generated by online/digital sales of "Sho Love" will be donated by ShoreShot Music LLC to the Holy Family St. Vincent de Paul Society in Union Beach NJ, where it will be used to provide direct aid to families who suffered devastation as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

"Sho Love" is now available for purchase on iTunes worldwide, AmazonMP3, Xbox music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Rhapsody, and other online vendors. The official "Sho Love" music video was directed by another local artist/cinematographer, Joey Salpietro (Brick, NJ), owner of F.A.M.E. Media Group / FMGProductions..

"We want people to understand 'Sho Love' is more than simply a song title - it's a call to action and a way of living", stated Whelan. "Even though this project highlights the devastation New Jersey shore communities are currently enduring, the commitment to show love to our neighbors and those in need should not be limited to times of crisis."

ShoreShot released his debut album, 'Slowly But Shorely' in 2010, and 'The ProgresS Report co-starring Erich Wald in 2012, and is currently working on his third album, 'ReTurn of the TidesS" set to release this summer.

The "ShoLove" music video contains footage from a live performance by ShoreShot at the, "Walk A Mile In Our Shoes," public event/ march against congress to pass the Sandy Relief Bill, in Seaside Heights, NJ, on January 12th, 2013. This event was coordinated by Gina Leigh, another local artist, who also released/performed her song, "Not Alone."
