Last night I heard the guns again, the shades are drawn, the war begins despite all the heartfelt love. As the walls are caving in, we might as well enjoy ourselves while we're still young. I know I'll disappoint you, when I eventually leave this cold, cold ground beneath my feet it cracks and I can't feel my toes inside these stranger's shoes (what did we do?). Any distance in between, it doesn't help when I'm asleep and dreaming of you.
