In the full 4-part series, John will teach you how to play 16th note linear fills that sound great, are easy-to-understand and will help you develop better coordination between your limbs.

Lesson #1 - You will learn a fill pattern using using three hands and one bass drum note.

Lesson #2 - John will teach you how to play a series of fills using two 16th notes with the hands followed by two with the bass drum.

Lesson #3 - You will learn a variety of very useful half measure fills plus, some additional full measure fills based on the pattern from lesson #2.

Lesson #4 - John will teach you how to super-impose triplets over 16th notes to create a funky 4 over 3 polyrhythmic fill.

Throughout this extensive lesson series, Vic Firth Artist and Educator John X (John Xepoleas) will discus a variety of popular subjects -- from classic grooves to techniques to creative fill ideas. Each lesson will expose you to concepts that will help develop your drumming skills, whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced level player.
