DESCRIPTION:
We are very proud to present Morgantown, WV native lo-fi outsider garage punk folkster J Marinelli in a rare acoustic session. While usually known for his one-man-band, electric guitar and drums, bluesy garage punk poetic mayhem, he stripped these beautifully raw songs down to their acoustic guitar and vocals core. These songs reveal a newly spit-shined beauty.
"Telephone Teeth" was originally released on Keep It Fake by A New Morning Books and Records in 2007, but was just recently reissued by Commodity Fetish Analogue in November of 2012. Like a number of Marinelli's songs, this one is fairly short, but it packs a wallop. Our session was shot near some train tracks and in an abandoned (and likely recently squatted in) building just next to the tracks near downtown Lexington.
