Tokyo wow TOKYO,, caught a fresh glimpse last night because we missed the last train... 3 hours,, hit the pavement,, asphalt under soles,,, a lotta strange looks from the local construction workers..
one shouted at us,, hey ... JEt ECHO!! get some F'n sleep bros...
we lined up an open mic.... and thought it'd be easy to sliiiiide in... but no dice... there was a line at the door 3 hours before,,, turns out everyone wants to play early,, that way they can catch the last train home... sho nuff!!!
we caught the TOKYO SUNRADIO,, a 3 piece ,, swooner guitar style and everything.... they rocked alright!
4 piece girl band really kikin it live and hard... fun and happy,, that is the thing here,,, the bands seem to be sooooo happy,,, !!!!
I turned the drums around and brought them off stage,,, unheard of at the RUBY LOUNGE, however,, it was not long before i had drummers crouched around me as we blasted through some new material... !!! maybe my black, Jedi Knight drum gloves made me look like a poser... but they figured it out...
when i turned around .. Jet Echo had captured this room's attention... 3 songs later,, covered in sweat and applause...
great first show in TOkyo...
as for ROADIES... im trying... man im trying.. mostly drummers... hopefully CHina will introduce some things we have never seen or smelled!!!!!!!!

YUKOYOPIA
we woke up to a rainy , weathered MINOWA, in TOkyo today,, think the town is weeping cuz Jet ECHO is on the OUTS,,, we leave tomorrow for Shanghai,, and as AL HELL says, " itll be a kik in the teeth"!!!!
Sunday at YUKOTOPIA we got to see a variety of bands,, first some young punks... and i mean that with great intention... let loose on the club.... they had the energy and the flair.... good to see em motivated... sent them 20 grand to buy some beer and snacks so they stuck around for our gig.. gotta say,, those younguns can really put it out there,, actually i felt a bit inspired to let loose,,,, but as our biggest fan says,, " we look more relaxed and confident.. but still the energy between JET ECHO is there,,"
Think we were magnified 10 fold cuz we had our favorite hitchiker, YUKKY, come and do visuals for our show,, SHE usually displays at events around Fukuoka but slowly over our tour she has hitchiked her way into the JET ECHO stream of things,,, i set up so that i could watch the visuals as they happened and man is it a trip,....!!!!
CHEN LIE graced the stage for our new song, "NIZIUM" and it was totally RAD,, yeah I SAID IT!!
i couldnt imagine a better night for us,, for our last show in TOKYO with our biggest supporter and entertainer,, by the way babe,,, you looked smashing up there!! Once i described the image as "battleship" I am changing that now to FLAGSHIP.... cuz it demands much mo respect and it lacks the guns...
she looked brilliant on stage next to the visuals ; AL HELL bringing the waves of sonic activity; Yukky turning colors into thoughts,, and me ... just taking it all in!!!!!!!
