Told in the form of solo instrumental guitar, Carbonaraʼs lyrical playing offers the listener seven personal autobiographical narratives that play out as carefully shaped thematic song poems.

Carbonaraʼs playing draws on an array of rich musical styles from Andalusian Roma-Flamenco to Hindustani classical. Over the years he has developed a unique exalted pidgin style of playing that covers a wide emotional terrain from meditative calm to restless unease by combining self-taught, free form classical and flamenco techniques with those learned from formal studies in India from master Hindustani slide guitarist, Debashish Bhattacharya.
