DESCRIPTION:
Manaleo Traditional Hawaiian music was started in 2004 by Earl Britos, Jerry Gillgren and Glenn Colburn. The group is dedicated to playing traditional Hawaiian music including Slack Key (Kihoalu). As the group progressed, Manaleo added Keoki Cortez (Formerly of Kool Elevations/Big Island) on Bass and Guitar and Sean Allen on the sweet Hawaiian steel guitar. By 2009, they toured the West Coast and Hawaii playing standards and originals. Manaleo is still performing at venues in Northern California where the group originated.
