JELLYFUZZ se forme au début du siècle sur les cendres de divers groupes brestois. Après deux ans de cafés-concerts et de scènes locales passés à balancer à toute berzingue les standards des Nuggets (Sonics, Remains, 13th Floor Elevators etc.), le groupe choisit d’écrire, de jouer, et d’enregistrer ses propres morceaux.En septembre 2004, le groupe sort « Talk, Talk, Talk! », son premier CD/EP autoproduit de 6 titres, en tirage limité à 500 exemplaires. "Talk, Talk, Talk!" est remarqué par la presse spécialisée.Au printemps suivant JELLYFUZZ retourne en studio et « Cadillac Motel », premier album du groupe, sort en septembre 2005. "Cadillac Motel" qui propose un cocktail détonnant de rock’n’roll frelaté, de country dégénérée et de garage '60s de contrebande, sera accueilli par une presse unanime.Toujours prêts à faire n’importe quoi pour se rendre intéressants, les Jellyboys profitent de leur passage au mythique Bus Palladium en mai 2007, pour presser à l’arrache « Friday 13th at Bus Palladium », un live 4 titres en vinyle bleu!En mars 2008, JELLYFUZZ remet le couvert et convoque le King himself, pour un rendez-vous gastronomique et sonore hors du commun: « A Barbecue With Elvis »! 13 morceaux de choix bien gras, bien tendres et bien saignants, marinés dans l'alcool de contrebande et l'huile de ricin. 13 recettes ancestrales que JELLYFUZZ semble détenir d'une grande prêtresse vaudoue et que le groupe prend un plaisir malsain à jouer avec plus de hargne et de vice que jamais.Au secours! Elvis n'est ni mort, ni végétarien: JELLYFUZZ l'a invité à un barbecue royal et il a accepté!

JELLYFUZZ rose at the dawn of the century from the smouldering ashes of several local bands from Brest (Brittany, France). The band picked and re-arranged 60’s punk classics by the Remains, the Sonics and other mythical combos from that era. After 2 busy years playing local clubs, JELLYFUZZ chose to write, play and record its own songs.
In September 2004, the band released "Talk Talk Talk!", its first CD/EP. It was reviewed in several French fanzines and magazines.In the following Spring, the 5-man band went back in studio to record their first album "Cadillac Motel" which was released in September 2005. "Cadillac Motel" offered an explosive cocktail of moonshine rock’n’roll, degenerate country music and bootleg ‘60s garage sounds. It was once again unanimously greeted by the press.On the occasion of a gig at the famous Parisian club Bus Palladium in May 2007, the Jellyboys recorded and cut « Friday 13th at Bus Palladium », a home-made, ear-crunching 4-track live EP in blue vinyl!In March 2008, JELLYFUZZ reopens the diner and invites the King himself to share its newest sonic ratatouille: « A Barbecue With Elvis »! 13 juicy and high in cholesterol new tunes, cooked rare and topped with a caster oil and whiskey sauce. 13 ancient recipes that were passed on to JELLYFUZZ by a Voodoo high priest and that the band plays with an insane, vicious grin on their faces.Beware! Elvis ain’t dead, nor has he turned a vegetarian: JELLYFUZZ asked him round to this kingly BBQ and he showed up!« A Barbecue With Elvis » comes in two different formats: limited edition vinyl (500 numbered pieces) and CD, with two different cover arts!
