Troubadours Of Armageddon - Video

LYRICS BELOW

The lyrics follow beneath, but this is a darker, more spiritual song than most of my more political or romantic fare. It's the Apocalypse as seen from the Horsemen's horses' point of view. Sadly, the first three words skipped but it's the best recording I've done so I left it: the words are 'Oh the horses, they are restless..." If you should want to hear songs from my 'albums', where they're differentiated with 'POLITICAL', 'ROMANTIC' or 'SPIRITUAL' clearly marked so you can skip the genres you don't care for, click on this link:

TROUBADOURS OF ARMAGEDDON

Oh, the horses, they are restless, in the stables of despair
They paw the ground so ceaselessly, their tails, they flick the air
They long to carry on the journey, from the high ground to the hollow
While the Troubadours of Armageddon follow

Troubadours of Armageddon follow
Singing of a future now so hollow
Singing of a bright, new, blue tomorrow
The Troubadours of Armageddon follow

Who will tell these horses who their riders really are?
These tired and hungry horses, who've already come so far
Way past the last oasis, yet still they stagger on
Past the smoky cities, to the burning hills beyond

Troubadours of Armageddon follow
Singing of a future now so hollow
Singing of a bright, new, blue tomorrow
The Troubadours of Armageddon follow

Who will tell these horses what their journey really means?
Who'll herald their arrival, above the many screams?
Who'll stroke their manes, blow in their ears, and whisper all is well?
When these horses bred in Heaven finally enter Hell

Troubadours of Armageddon follow
Singing of a future now so hollow
Singing of a bright, new, blue tomorrow
The Troubadours of Armageddon follow

Just as they can stand no more, their riders all dismount
Grimly step across the dying, to begin the body count
They need to tell their master that his work has all been done
And not a soul's left breathing on the fields of Armageddon

But beyond the devastation, in a quiet part of town
The lion and the lamb
The lion and the lamb
And the horses
All lay down
