DESCRIPTION:
Singer/songwriter James Talley was backed by Bluegrass band 4Wheel Drive at the 8th International Bluegrass Festival in Buehl, Germany in 2010. This is them opening their afternoon set with "Tryin' Like The Devil" from James album of the same name (Capitol Records, 1976). It was re-recorded for the album "Touchstones" (Cimarron Records, 2002) and live versions appear on both "James Talley Live" (recorded in 1979 at The Lone Star Café (NYC) and The Great Southeast Music Hall (Atlanta), Torreon Productions 1994) and "Journey" (live in Italy in 2002, Cimarron Records, 2004).
