Dave Pomeroy is President of the Nashville Musicians Association. He has played bass on more than 500 albums, including work with Elton John, Keith Whitley, Trisha Yearwood, Earl Scruggs, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Emmylou Harris and The Chieftains. Dave has also released 10 albums as a solo artist, bandleader and producer on his own label, Earwave Records. Dave was voted Studio Musician of the Year at the 1991 Nashville Music Awards and Bassist of the Year at the 1997 Nashville Music Awards.



He has played countless live shows as a solo artist, sideman, and as bandleader for many major artists, including Steve Winwood, John Fogerty, Duane Eddy, Mose Allison and Dr. John. In 1999, Dave created and hosted Nashville Unlimited, a radio series on Nashville Public Radio featuring performances and interviews with a wide variety of cutting edge Nashville artists. He is a featured columnist for Bass Player magazine, and has contributed as a writer to various books about bass playing and the music business. His latest release on Earwave Records is Three Ring Circle, an instrumental trio CD with Rob Ickes and Andy Leftwich. Dave's CDs and Videos are available at www.davepomeroy.com
