Choro Dragão is a group of friends and collaborators living (mostly) in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. They all like to play choro music and tunes, but none are, first and foremost, choro musicians.
This music is not an attack on traditional choro; we LOVE traditional choro! This is a celebration of these composers and their work through the lens of the many styles this band loves to play. The result is choro as it could only sound in Brooklyn.
