Awesome On Its Own: Everybody (Backstreet's Back)

When I record my videos for AOIO, I usually take a good version of myself singing the whole song. I also think of ways that I could embellish the video through the use of short clips, usually mimicking parts of the original music video or enacting lines from the song. I film those clips, then stick them together in song order (not recorded order) in a video called "Bits." This is one such video.

So for this one I called up a few dancer-friends to help recreate the final chorus in the music video, and while most of them wanted to help out, most of them couldn't make it. Thank goodness for Kaili and Meghan, though.

The first clip is the second verse, starting with "So throw your hand up in the air," and we've replicated the dancers from the music video. The second clip is our version of the first half of the double chorus at the end of the song. I think they both turned out really well. Finally, after the ladies left, us guys decided to do one more. I kind of wish we hadn't. I think we submitted too much for this video. Dancing was done in the gym at my church.
