Internal Malice

Internal Malice was born in the month of October the year 2004 coming from the surrounding areas of Nashville, TN. It was the brain child of founding member Aaron, who was just starting out on drums. Aaron along with original bassist Tim and guitar player Joseph wanted to make something fresh while still keeping the old school feel of influential bands like Autopsy, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse.

After writing some material and wanting to take things more serious they found their vocalist Bobby through networking in the scene. The 4 played a few shows in 05 and traveled around the state getting the name out in the open. After the release of their first demo they realized they needed something more, so they recruited rhythm guitarist Jeremy in August of 06 who brings the dynamic and thickness the band sought out.

In early 2007 the band released their second demo Titled “I am Genocide” which included 5 songs. The summer of 07 brought the departure of co-founding member Tim due to personal issues. Replacement bassist, Cade brought in his element of thrash influences that completed the sound the band had been going for.

The band continued on playing as many shows as possible in 2007 reaching states Indiana, Georgia and Louisiana and getting the opportunity to open for bands like Year of Desolation, Anal Cunt, Arsis and Soilent Green. After the departure of Bobby and Cade, the line up was rocky, but came together as Jeremy started doing vocals full time, Joseph doing lead guitar, and return of Tim Garcia, but this time as the second guitarist. Months later, Internal Malice was in shambles. Jeremy, Tim and Joseph all had to disband, as they sought out new things in order to better their lives. There was no bad blood at all between the members.

Since the disbandment of INTERNAL MALICE, Aaron, Bobby, and Cade have started the old school death/thrash project, THE CREATURE. Stick around to hear what their new band is like! Aaron also runs GRIND ON!! WEBZINE in his spare time. www.myspace.com/grindonzine
