Originally featured in the Bing Crosby film "Too Much Harmony".
In eventually finding "The day you came along", it completed my collection of Jack Payne's Imperial issues.
His late Imperial recordings from Nos.2915 - 2949 are harder to find as by this time, late 1933, the producers, Crystalate were more concerned with their new label, Rex.
The only late Imperial likely to turn up on a regular basis is "The last round-up", which it seems everybody recorded.
Here is Jack Payne with a recently re-formed band (and thanks to an improved recording quality) sounding in fine form!
