Introducing "My Name in Lights" Talent Contest, where the best up and coming artists in Dallas perform on our Voodoo Stage in Crossroads at House of Blues. WGR Management partnered with the House of Blues in Dallas for the 'My Name in Lights' Competition starting on July 1, 2012.

'My Name in Lights' is a competition geared toward bringing in the top musical talent in the Metroplex area in order to compete for a paid headliner show at the House of Blues in Dallas. All genres, solo or band, are encouraged to sign up and compete in one of the four shows that will take place. A total of eight acts will perform per show with one finalist moving to the final round. The audience will have a chance to vote on their favorite acts by going online to submit their votes. The winner of the competition will get to headline a paid show at the famous House of Blues in Dallas and have their name shown on the marquee.

The very first House of Blues opened its doors in a converted historical house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992 and is home to live music, original folk art, and delta-inspired cuisine. Grown out of founder Isaac Tigret's love for blues music, the House of Blues is dedicated to educating and celebrating the history of Southern Culture and African American artistic contributions to music and art.
