Mission:
House of Talent is a Multi Media arts program equipping young artists and leaders with the tools necessary to be successful in the Entertainment industry, through workshops, Artist Development, lived experiences, life skills development, and Multi media training we will teach our participants how to thrive and excel at their chosen profession
Vision:
House of Talent Intends through partnerships, Sponsorship, Donations and Overall growth to eventually grow to become an umbrella entity encompassing new organizations, social enterprises, and community youth leaders to develop a Hub for entertainment, entrepreneurship and social Justice leadership
What is House of Talent:
While still in its infantsy as a physical organization, House of Talent as a concept and a grass roots group came about in 2008 when Alida Brown and Keith "DT" Sweeney brainstormed the concept on the Island of St. Maarten. Since then house of talent has been putting on workshops, Fashion shows, showcases, and creating opportunities for models and artists in Toronto and st. Maarten. In 2013 Hope House Youth Charities saw the potential in the fledgling organization and partnered up to create a space located at 1550 Eglinton Avenue West.

Artist Development
Understanding Stage Presence, Imaging, your brand and the music business
Music Production/Engineering
Learning the basics of production, recording and engineering
Graphic arts
Utilizing Adobe CS suite, learning Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator.
Learn how to make posters, business cards, and cd covers
Life Skills/Leadership Skills
Developing skills that will carry you through school, work and life
Learning about event planning, and taking on a leadership role
Digital Media (Video/Photography)
Learning the basics of photography, and video shooting,
Create a portfolio or Demo reel
