シンプルなコードにおけるicefaceチューニングのインプロヴィゼーション

In This video Iceface melody goes in simple diatonic chords, onlyⅠ(C )Maj7 and Ⅳ(F)Maj7, and Ⅲ(E)m7. Every black key of this keyboard is 50 cents higher. How do I tune? Icefaceは鍵盤楽器なら黒鍵、ノンダイアトニックの音のみを全て平均律よりも50セント高くチューニングし、それらの音を経過音や装飾音などとして使用し、平均律の音楽とは違った響きを生み出すというコンセプトです。このビデオでは、比較的シンプルなダイアトニックコード内(ＣMaj7と、ＦMaj7、Em7のみ）　おける即興やフレーズを演奏してみました。

チューニングの方法ですが、私自身はNative Instruments KontaktやSteinberg Cubaseなどのmicro tuning機能を使って、サンプリングされたピアノやハープなどを微分音を取り込んでMIDIキーボードで演奏しています。技術的な詳細など、次回以降のビデオなどで随時ご紹介していく予定です。お楽しみに＆ご質問お気軽に。

icefaceのコンセプトは簡単に微分音を作曲や演奏に取り込む方法のためのものです。
1オクターブ12音のうち、ノンダイアトニックの音のみ微分音化して装飾音や経過音として使えば、ダイアトニックのコード進行内では平均律の音楽とは違った印象で、しかしうまく調性を保ったクロマチックの音階を作る音律として機能いうるというアイデアです。

iceface tunted pianoとしては、ハ長調の場合ノンダイアトニックの音になる黒鍵を全て50セント上げるという方法にしていますが、これはスケール(ここではC icefaceとします）とこの物語を作るための口実で、面白く響けばどこをどう上下させてもよいでしょう。

What's Iceface Tuning?

The concept of Iceface Tuning is to tune every sharp and flat note in each key 50 cents higher. These highered notes are now quarter tones called "ice notes" in Iceface Tuning.
You can use these ice notes mainly as passing notes and grace notes and give detune and doubling-like effects to specific notes of the melody and chord tones in the composition/performance.


アイスフェイス・チューニングとは
調の中のシャープ、フラットの音を全て50セント高い4分音に割り当て（ハ長調ならば全ての黒鍵）それらをアイス・ノート(Ice Note)とし、主に経過音または装飾音として用いることで旋律及び和音に局部的なデチューン、ダブリング的効果を与えた作曲、演奏を可能にします。

This Iceface Tuning can be developed to Ice Tonality.
In Iceface Tonality, all the modes will have ice notes. ( Iced Lydian, Iced Mixolydian, e.g.) This Iceface Tuning even applies to non-western music scales such as Maqams. (Iceface Maqams)


このIceface Tuningを発展させたIce Tonalityではあらゆる旋法にアイス・ノートを付属させることになり（Iced Lydian, Iced Mixolydian　など）、このコンセプトは非西洋音楽であるマカームなどにも適用できます。 (Iceface Maqam)
