Head for the Hills - "Bucker" (Live at Bowerman Guitars) - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 12, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
H4TH was in Bend, OR and had a chance to stop by good friend and Master Luthier Jayson Bowerman's shop at Bowerman Guitars. After a tour, the guys picked up some of Jayson's instruments--old and new--and played Sam's new song, "Bucker."

Adam is strumming an Oregon Trail “0” size 12 fret to body guitar made of Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce. Crafted earlier this year.

Joe's plucking an “Army/Navy” style flat top mandolin made in 1999 of Oregon Myrtlewood and Sitka Spruce. This one has literally been around the world from North America to south america (2x) to Europe to the Mentawai islands of Indonesia, Singapore, Bali and Hong Kong.... and back again.

The instrument Sam's playing is a Bambino size Octave, effectively an 8-string tenor guitar but tuned like an octave mandolin. Made in 2015 of Oregon Myrtlewood and Sitka Spruce.
