Harrison Ray hails from Olar, South Carolina and transplanted to Charleston about twelve years ago. When asked how he feels about his music, Ray pauses a moment to think about it. "It's honest and spiritual," he explains, "there are no particular tags or particular influences...it's very unique...I don't feel like anybody else can really say that."

Ray has played with some bands around Charleston but has always been the songwriter. His lyrics have always meant a lot to him, but he's never found that he has a particular method to writing them. This past year he released a solo album, Lel Paraguas.
