DESCRIPTION:
Dance To The Music, You Can Make It If You Try, I Want To Take You Higher, Sing A Simple Song, "M" Lady, Hot Fun In The Summertime, Everyday People, Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin), Everybody Is A Star, Family Affair, as well as Stand are but a few of the world famous recordings that Greg Errico has been featured on. His outstanding percussion work was always the foundation of the many hits by Sly And The Family Stone, today credited as the driving force behind the fusion of Soul and Rock. Without Sly, Gregg, Larry and the rest of The Family Stone, there would be no Parliament Funkadelic, Georger Clinton, Earth Wind And Fire, Ohio Players, etc. Greg is one of the worlds most sampled drummers, appearing on hundreds of Hip-Hop tracks including Dr. Dre, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Kid Rock, The Beastie Boys, Primal Scream, Will.i.am.

Greg has also recorded with Carlos Santana, Funkadelic, Bill Wyman, Hubert Laws, Lee Oskar, as well as many other notable performers.

Here alongside studio guitarist Lou Maxfield (Joan Jett, The Ravers, etc.) and featuring the hard driving bass of David Brooks Dennard (Gary Myric And The Figures, The Ravers), as well as Pianist Andy Cahan, you'll find Greg pounding out the major beat for this dance classics. Lead vocals are provided by powerhouse Linda Lawley, featured vocalist of Thieves, a Los Angeles "super-group" who were signed to Mike Chapman's Dreamland Records.

"Dance Party was originally released under the moniker, "The Knickers."

"The Rapper" Produced by Harold Bronson
