MC Reverend Walters' Notes:
This next song is a real get up and jive little number from a British singer songwriter who hit the top UK chart spot with this his third number one. It's lyrics bemoan the singer's frustration with modern day dating, in particular the incessant use of social networking to do so. He writes, "I'm sick of Twitter and Facebook, you know, I want to meet a girl in a club or in a bar. Every time I meet a girl they're like 'Just add me on Facebook, or Tweet me'... (I think they may have been trying to tell him something!)... He says "I wanted to write a really old, classic song about seeing a really fit girl in a club and taking her out on a date.' By fit I mean she has a resting pulse of 40. The cheeky music vid follows the performer's attempts to try and get a girl to go out with him, by singing and letting off fireworks outside her house. Shortly, after the police are called and the guy ends up getting nicked. Anyway, here to sing Olly Murs Dance with Me tonight please put your hands together for Greenbank house.
