DESCRIPTION:
This is Tell Teigen performing his fantastic balancing act more than 30meters (100 feet) above the ground. There is no safety net! These footage was shot at Santa Monica Beach in the early 1950s, and it was discovered when a Norwegian film crew made a documentary film about Tell. It tells the story of a young man born in the small town of Høyanger in Norway who became the main act at the Ringing Bros Circus in the USA. He fell down performing his famous act in Palm Springs at the age of 34, and died from the wounds.
