Sami McGrath is a nineteen year old singer/songwriter in a long term relationship with her guitar. She found her love for country music at a young age whilst growing up in the rural QLD town of Goondiwindi, and after moving to the Sunshine Coast, Sami began performing in a corporate band at the age of sixteen. She played with the band at many weddings, gala balls and events; however, after landing an opportunity to perform a solo act as support for Kate-Miller Heidke at a local show in 2014, Sami grew a passion for sharing her original music. Since then she has gone on to play at the Gympie Muster, supporting Jared Porter at the Eumundi Country Music Festival, and is frequenting many other local venues and events across the Sunshine Coast and Queensland. Now, beginning to record her debut EP, Sami is on the verge of great things, and is one to keep an eye out for in the country music scene.
