DESCRIPTION:
After a European tour with his group Frisco Blues in the 80's, Bob Christopher decided to settle in Belgium. He then left Uncle Sam's largest state (Texas) for our small and flat country. However, far from feeling cramped, that is on our territory that Bob will extend his talents of guitarists, within the group Molchanov Brothers and of course alongside Genevieve Dartevelle that he has known for nearly 15 years, now. Bob and Genevieve form an explosive duo. Together they explore the different facets of blues, whether it is on stage or in their album "Back on the Road", released this summer. Texas and Belgium have never been so close than the day that the two musicians interpreted, at the Molière Theatre, the songs "Please Tell Me You Are Joking". A song in which Bob Christopher talks about his ex-girlfriend.

C'est à la suite d'une tournée européenne avec son groupe Frisco Blues, dans les années 80', que Bob Christopher décide de s'installer en Belgique. Il quitte alors le plus grand état du pays de l'oncle Sam ( Texas) pour notre petit et plat pays. Néanmoins, loin de se sentir à l'étroit, c'est sur notre territoire que Bob va étendre ses talents de guitaristes, au sein du groupe Molchanov Brothers et, bien entendu, au côté de Geneviève Dartevelle qu'il connait maintenant depuis près de 15 ans. Bob et Geneviève forment un duo explosif. Ensemble ils explorent les différentes facettes du blues que ce soit sur scène ou dans leur album " Back on the road", sortie cet été. Le Texas et la Belgique n'auront jamais été aussi proche que le jour où ces deux musiciens, hors pairs, ont interprété, sur les planche du Théâtre Molière, le morceaux "Please Tell Me You Are Joking". Une chanson dans laquelle Bob Christopher parle de son ex copine.

Na een Europese toernee met zijn groep Frisco Blues in de jaren tachtig, blijft Bob Christopher in België plakken. Hij laat de grootste staat uit het land van Uncle Sam (Texas), achter voor onze kleine, vlakke land. Hoewel hij zich nog steeds op en top Texaan voelt, is het in ons land dat hij zijn talenten als gitarist verder gaan ontwikkelen, binnen de groep Molchanov Brothers en aan de zijde van Geneviève Dartevelle die hij ondertussen al 15 jaar kent. Bob en Geneviève vormen al jaren een explosief duo, zoals ze tonen op het podium als op hun laatste cd " Back on the road", die afgelopen zomer uitkwam. Texas en België hebben nooit dichter bij elkaar gelegen dan toen beide muzikanten op het podium van Muziekpublique "Please Tell Me You Are Joking" speelden. Een lied waarin Bob Christopher over zijn ex zingt.
