I thought it might be fun to play Van Morrison's classic "Brown-Eyed Girl" with minor chords, just to see what would happen. Lo and behold, it turns into something really cool and different!
So I worked up this recording in my studio to illustrate it. I really like the way a simple flatted third can change the whole meaning of the song. Oh, and if you're trying to figure it out, "that chord" is an Eb major. :D Just remember, you heard the idea here first!
This song was originally written by Van Morrison in 1967. I have no part of the original composition.
