DESCRIPTION:
Every January around the birthday of David Bowie, I have been putting on a Bowie night called, Lets Play....Bowie featuring up to 10 local acts performing his songs. This is at The Donkey in Leicester.
We had a successful night on Jan 8th 2016 - his birthday and release of Blackstar.
Then he passed away 2 days later!
I was asked to put on some sort of memorial night.
It was the most successful night.
We had to close the doors at 8.30pm.
had 10 acts playing all night and thought it would be a nice idea to let the audience have thier moment of singing.
This is the result.
Leicester guitarist and singer Andy Wales sang and played. I took the video and encouraged the room. They didn't need much encouragement.

We'll be doing it all again on January 7th 2017
