I want to thank Rossella Amadori, Gary Kennon, Bob Richards and the Mayer of Cirencester Mark Harris for making this event for Cozy Powell a success!

It was the one of the best days of my life and it was an honor to be there to celebrate the life and times of Cozy Powell

I arrived early and helped the guys carry in some of Cozy’s drums.
I must admit that I was a bit shy to play this drum kit, its not an easy kit to play on, especially when using his Massive Sticks! They are very thick and heavy!
Bob Richards the current owner of this Kit was kind enough to allow me to play this precious instrument.

I could feel the soul of Cozy in those drums. It was a bit of a surreal & emotional moment for me, but I must admit it was fun and the kit had that great powerful Cozy sound already built into it!

There is only One Man that can play this drum kit the proper way and that is Cozy Powell

He left behind a legacy of great drumming and great music and he is terribly missed

and two Premier 250s Bass Drum pedals which were built in the mid to late 60’s.
Very old school with a great feel! I can see what Cozy liked to use them!
