She is a 2014 and 2015 Artist Fellow (DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities) and has won 4 Washington Area Music Awards with her duo The Sweater Set. As The Sweater Set, Sara has toured the United States, UK, and Ireland and has opened for Lucius, Pearl and The Beard, Dar Williams, Arc Iris, and Michelle Shocked.
