DESCRIPTION:
A new experience of musical + visual showcase held in 2 difference states in peninsular Malaysia, Soundmaker (Penang) & Findars (Kuala Lumpur).

Performers/Artists:-

1. Koji Asano (Japan)
Based in London (1993), Tokyo (1994-1998), Barcelona (1999-2004), Tokyo currently.
He release CD album more than 40 titles from his own label Solstice and compose for acoustics instruments for E Ensemble Die Reihe (Austria 2004), Paragon Ensemble (Scotland 2002), the Smith Quartet (France 1997) and Banda Municipalc de Barcelona [winds orchestra] (Spain 2001). He also known for laptop based sole live performance more tha 20 countries around the world.
Prolific and wide range variety of his original music is beyond the frames of the music category:"One of the most imaginative composers in the world" (All Music Guide)

2. Unii and 1escV? - collaboration group
This is a collaboration project between 2 artists : un escargot vide ? (France) and Unii (Japan)
un escargot vide ? : digital live drawing, sound experimental performance
Unii : singer, songwriter, composer : She mainly focus on electronic sound and avant~pop
By using soundscape, projection, voice, original lyrics, electronic melodies and colorful lines, they would like to invite the viewers to construct their own narrative experience according to their present imaginary tales and personal past history.
Unii and un escargot vide ? first session was in Tokyo in 2012. They also successfully performed together in vietnam in January 2013
This coming April~May, they will be on tour in Asia.

About Unii:-
Tokyo-based Unii is a sound artist and singer-songwriter unabashedly brandishing her pop sensibilities with no holds-barred experimentation in delicate, origami-like pop song structures with their advances into capricious avant-pop genius and feminine electroacoustic weirdness. Unii's first LP "new world, sea and your eyes" (2011) and her live performances evoke an awkwardly beautiful and elegant soundscape that brings into existence a slowed-down universe of whispery sing-speak, delicate coos, multitracked echoes, reconstituted field recordings, digital clicks and blips, tempered noise and unorthodox beats.

About 1escV?
Drawing and sound performances :
When I was a child, I used drawings to communicate with other kids, it created connections with my entourage. Until now, I still had a strong feeling in my mind about my first drawing.
Drawing to me, it's more like a present, a message, a souvenir and a link between humans.
I always wanted to reconcile my two media attraction; drawing and sound art into a multidisciplinary art project.
Since year 2010, I started to use real-time drawing projection to present my work by using projector, computer drawing software's and the Wacom drawing pen tablet, which evolves with sound into multimedia performances.
During live performances, I tried to create a narrative combination between sounds and drawings: as a means of leading the audience into an imaginary tales.
I'm currently working on my art project using the name :
"Un Escargot Vide ?", aka "~1escV?" (An empty snail?)

3. REFLEX REACTIONS (Malaysia)
Is an improv duo formed in 2006, with Yong Yandsen on woodwinds and Kok Siew-Wai on voice. The duo creates musical conversations through attentive listening; exploring familiar and unfamiliar sounds occurring at the moment.

4. Flica (Malaysia)
Is an electro-acoustic outfit produced by Euseng Seto from the evolving music scene of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Born in 1982, he begun his exquisite journey in conceptualizing and producing delicate home-brew music since 2005 with his first electronica duo project muxu with member Huat Liang.
Having realized the need to explore further and experiment with his own music style, Euseng Seto started Flica in early 2007, solely crafting and producing music on his own. As a result, the subtle sounds that Flica creates are exceptionally melodic and uncomplicated, which perfectly mirroring his perceptions towards daily personal feelings on life and nature.
Flica has released several albums: Nocturnal (2006), Windvane & Window (2008) and Telepathy Dreams (2009).

5. Rainf Puah (Malaysia)
Is an electronic audio artist who performs live as a singular entity. His pieces can be described as richly textural, from fractal process music to neo-romantic electronica, that are harmonically complex yet awash in consonance. He is experiments an array of hardware music sequencers instru/equipments at all times.
