In this interview done backstage at the Newport Jazz Festival, pianist Frank Kimbrough talks about working with Maria Schneider with whom he's been playing for almost 20 years. He also shares his wish list of artists he'd like to play with, including those no longer with us. Kimbrough was appearing at the festival with the Maria Schneider Orchestra and as a solo artist.
