The UK Production House label started in 1987 releasing House records, but by 1989 the traditional House beats were being replaced with Breakbeats on the label, and before long in 1990 the Breakbeat / Hardcore sound would begin to dominate the dance underground and become a huge sensation. "Daydreaming" by Baby D was one of those pioneering records, and put Production House in a new direction towards the hard hitting Breakbeat sound after being primarily a House / Soul label for 3 years.

This outstanding remix of the classic track was done by Hardcore / Drum & Bass legend Acen back in 1991. However the track never got a release until 1996 when it showed up on the Baby D album "Deliverance" which was released on the Systematic label, and later again on the 2CD compilation "The First Decade 87-97" which was the last CD release by Production House before they went out of business.

I have no idea why this remix never got a proper release on vinyl in 1991. It is a stellar remix from Acen that should have been released at that time and not later in 1996 when Drum & Bass and Jungle had progressed from the early Hardcore / Breakbeat sound.

So in this video I used images from the "Deliverance" 2CD and the triple pack vinyl, but I also used a tiled image of the highly sought after compilation "The First Decade 87-97" since this track I uploaded came directly from that compilation.
