Fancy Raygun

After many years of drunken "let's start a band" talk, these two fellows JohnnyPlanet (a.k.a. Janiz) and T.Ray (a.k.a. TuSka) started to write songs (and try to play them with real instruments too!!) and Rock-Jorma (a.k.a. Jope) joined in 2004. After a few line up changes and rehealsalroom problems, in 2006 a new singer and guitarplayer Sammy Spikez joined the band. That was a big step forward and Fancy Raygun started to really find their own sound.

Fancy Rayguns music is a mixture of rock-a-billy, psychobilly, punk, rock'n roll and many other styles. Music is influenced by band's like: Batmobile, Peacocks, Rancid, Stray Cats, The Clash, Green Day, The Living End, D.A.G., Social Distortion, Frantic Flintstones, The Misfits The list goes on and on. Fancy Rayguns first gig was in January 2007 with The Butchers and it was a great succes. Soon after that they find themselves playing with many big names as Frantic Flintstones, Astro Zombies, The Klingonz and Thee Suspenders in Finland.

At end of the year 2007 after one demo and several gigs, a new drummer, Goofy Gasoline joined the band. That raised the band to a whole new level! In the spring of 2008 FR spend some time in the studio and hit their new sounds on an EP called "Tales from Absurdity."

2009 they recorded three song's "Dairy Demo". Two brand new song and improved version of "Time Bombs U.T.S.M." They started to get more name and did more gigs than ever but at end of the year 2009 Sammy Spikez decided to leave the band.

Their last gig was jan. 2 2010 in Riihimäki, Finland.
