Following the digi-sharp path that AURA ANTHROPICAS space cadet Hans Platzgumer splayed with his earlier 'Morketiden' Ep, he now inevitably enters winter with 'Nocturnal Low', a collection of 8 dark and mesmerizing tracks, full of unique odd funkiness - A continental step ahead into the realms of dark electronica.
Opener 'Ovata' is tuning in from profound depths, followed by a housy 'Arendsii', while 'Decussata' and 'Paniculata' seem to explore the midmost cavities with rolling subbasses and eerie soundscapes. The pitched 'Kelseyi'-groove features the talents of IDM wizard E. Stonji and 'Douglasii' quite surprises with its emotionality and melodic build ups. The journey closes with 'Glaberrima', an extra bonus cut.
