For Part 1 of this special, we sat down with Rochester saxophonist and educator Karl Stabnau. In addition to being a great interviewee and a fabulous player and arranger, Karl is putting on his 6th annual A Charlie Brown Christmas with the Karl Stabnau Quartet. For this special, Eastman alum Julian Garvue joined Karl, but for the full concert he is joined by Jacob Dupre on piano, Mike Forfia on bass, and Eric Metzgar on drums.
