Frequen.C aka Corey Morris, was born & rasied in Daytona Beach FL. where he grew up listening to a variety of music, everything from progressive acts like N.I.N., My life with the Thrill Kill Kult, and Skinny Puppy, to the opposite end of the musical spectrum with hip-hop acts like Run DMC, KRS 1, Slick Rick & Dougie Fresh. Frequen.C's plunge into the world of night-life began in 1990 at the impressionable age of 15. He had always hung out with an older crowd and was about to experience a new world of music & entertainment that was like nothing he had seen before. He and his friends began to frequent the emerging late-night parties that were begining to sprout up in the Central Florida area, such as under-ground warehouse parties in Orlando like the Jester Emotion Warehouse "behind Moma B's Subs" & of course infamous nightclubs like The Edge, Aahz, & Brassy's. As new clubs opened and the scene began to grow, his hometown of Daytona began to grow a little scene of its own. 701 South was one of the hottest clubs in town, playing mostly progressive and alternative music. They then started a new night called Insomnia "the first official late-night in the Daytona Beach area. Shortly after, Daytona experienced the opening of its most advanced nightclub of the time, the now de-funked "Coliseum" which brought in some of the worlds best known DJs, world renowned live acts, and state of the art lasers, lighting, sound, and pyro, that blew everyone in the area away. At age 18 Frequen.C decided to experience all the different styles that electronic music had to offer, and that's when his travel began. In the next four years he moved to several different areas of the country such as Orlando, Tampa, Chicago, Connecticut and San Francisco, and then finally moved back to Florida. Frequen.C began spinning records years before he actually bought his first set of 1200's, since many of his friends and roommates already had them. He spins several styles of music including Hip-Hop, House, Dubstep and Acid Jazz but is best known for his flawless sets of Funky Breaks, Electro and Vocal Breaks. Growing up in Florida, he was highly influenced by the Miami Bass scene, so you can also bet on hearing some old 2 Live Crew or Sir Mix Alot if he's throwing down a Old School set. He is currently producing several new tracks and also owns "Elemental Entertainment" and "Afterdark Magazine". He and his companies have put on some of the hottest parties that Daytona Beach has ever seen including, but not limited to; "ELEVATION" @ The Groove and Love bar with over 30 of Florida's best know EDM artist including D.J. Sandy, Eric Berretta, D.J. Fixx, Rob-E, Security, 8-on, Davie-D, Trevor Rockwell, etc... Also a phenomenal Valentines Day Event "LOVE2GROOVE" w/ Andy Hughes, Keith Mackenzie, Trixie, Christian Michaels, D.J. Knightlife, etc... On All Hallows Eve of 2004 " THE MONSTERS BALL" @ The Kings Mansion w/ a LIVE performance by Inner Realm, plus over 30 D.J.'s including Stylus, The Dr's of Rhythm, D.J. Rock, Billy-Z, etc... And a Hip-Hop concert at "The Kings Mansion" with Trick Daddy & Khia performing "LIVE" on a huge outdoor stage on the beach, plus several D.J.'s playing in the Grand Ballroom and the Kings Cellar. Current events he's produced along with his team at Afterdark Magazine include Summer Sessions, The Art Army "ART PARTY", Radioplay w/ Dj X and Jimmy Joslin, Future Sound of Breaks CD release party at 509, TTM3 Massacre on the Beach, etc...

If you're in Florida, make sure to check him out, whether he's on the decks or producing the party, it will be one party you don't to miss.
