Born in North Carolina, raised for the most part in Fl. Rock began spinning in 1999 and began producing in 2001. Having always been heavily involved in the booming central florida club and music scene, listening to the sounds the best in the world had to offer on a weekly basis, it isnt hard to see why Rocks sound is 2nd to none!! Rock has played all over the east coast with stops in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and all over Florida. Playing with such greats as Hybrid, Sharaz, Rick West, Eric Berretta, Sandy, 8on, Mark Sanchez, J-Break and many others while at the same time holding down monthly residencies at Orlando's hottest clubs such as Icon & Fusion.

Rock began Global Revolution Records in late 2002 to house the release of some of his own original material. Teaming up with labelmate Shawn Payne Global released "Cold Breaks", "Mystery", and "Do no attempt" in late 2003 after recieving exclusive distribution from the largest breaks distributer in the U.S., DBI, out of Jacksonville, Florida. The Follow up to the successfull "Cold Breaks" release for Rock was a collaberation with Shawn Payne called "The Devil Inside". The release was Rocks biggest to date. "Devil Inside" was charted on Dj Jimmy Joslin's top 20 and has recieved large play from the biggest name in breaks, Dj Icey! Just when things couldnt get any hotter Rock teamed up with North Carolina super duo Aaron Sigmon & Skip-a-Beat(A-beat records) to drop "Be Good to the Beat". The record hit the top 5 best sellers in most major record stores such as "The Drop Shop" & "VADj.com". In early 2006 Rock joined forces with Orlando break veteran Tripnotic (tripnotic records & sounds) to release "Electro"; The debut 12' for Tripnotic on the Global Revolution Records label. The record saw moderate success and was featured on Rob Analyze (Bombeatz) 1st mixed cd entitled "Breakz Change". In Late 2006 Rock teamed up with one of the hottest, most talented producers in the game. Viro. Together with Tampa vocalist Jennavive they dropped "Million Miles". The original as well as Viro rmx were featured on Jennavives full length album titled "Here and Now".

Be on the lookout for some big things to come out of the Global Revolution Records camp in 2008! Dj Rock will no longer be known as such; rather Steve Rock.
