DESCRIPTION:
Conrado Moya, marimba and percussion soloist, performs Romantica by the French composer Emmanuel Séjourné in its version for marimba solo. This work is part of "Silentium", Conrado Moya's first marimba solo album.

Romantica was inicially conceived as the second movement of Emmanuel Séjurné's "Suite" for marimba solo and four percussionists. In 2007, Séjourné made an arragement of this second movement. The result was an independent new piece written just for marimba, unaccompanied. Nevertheless, this latest version keeps intact the essence of the composer's style: full of tenderness, but also intensely passionate. The score is published by Norsk Musikforlag.
