Many Guys have contacted me about the IH 300 Utility I bought Last Year, so here the Update. It was one of my Favorite IH Tractors but I had to be Realistic and make a decision,.
The 30U just simply needed too much work for me to handle Financially, and so I made a decision to sell the Tractor to a Good Friend of mine who does Complete Restorations.
Well, today he stopped by to show me the New Tires he just had mounted on her and other Progress he made so far. It is Now 100% Mechanically sound and he plans on Stripping it down and Painting it in the Spring. He said he would than be using the 300U as His #1 Personal Brush Hogging Tractor. She Won't be a Trailer Queen.. She will be going Back to doing the Work as She was Intended to do.... and that, in my opinion , is the Whole Purpose of Saving a Tractor, She wasn't Made to Sit and Collect Dust.
I'm very Happy I found the Right Person to Pass her on to, As sad I was the day I Sold Her, Today I feel Great to know I made the Right Choice .. Another Tractor Saved..."Book 'em DanO'"
