Lois Mann is an alias for Syd Nathan (27 April 1904 -- 5 March 1968) who was an American hillbilly, country & western and rhythm and blues record producer who started King Records in 1943. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in the "non-performer" category, in 1997.

John Broven, on page 146 of Record Makers and Breakers , writes
"Lois Music was Syd's company, and it was the umbrella for all the joint venture companies he had. Lois was named after an old girl friend, Lois Friedman, and Sydney would write under the pseudonym Lois Mann."

Myron C. ("Tiny") Bradshaw (September 23, 1907 -- November 26, 1958) was an American jazz and rhythm and blues bandleader, singer, composer, pianist, and drummer from Youngstown, Ohio
Bradshaw's best known recording was "Train Kept A-Rollin'" (1951), which passed from rhythm and blues into rock. The song was recorded by Johnny Burnette in 1956 and The Yardbirds in 1965. It was covered again by Aerosmith in 1974 and by Motörhead in 1978.

Henry Bernard aka Henry Bernard Glover (May 21, 1921 -- April 7, 1991) was an American songwriter ,arranger, record producer and trumpet player. He gained eminence in the late 1940's, primarily working for Syd Nathan's King label. His duties included operating as a producer, arranger, songwriter (occasionally utilizing the alias of Henry Bernard), engineer, trumpet player, talent scout, A&R man, studio constructor. Glover worked with country, blues, R&B, pop, rock, and jazz musicians, and he helped King Records to become one of the largest independent labels of its time
Note: Mann (Nathan) and Bernard (Glover) were co-writers, along with "Morry Burns" (aka Moon Mullican, the great hillbilly boogie pianist) and Henry Thurston, of the classic song 'I'll Sail My Ship Alone.'
