Orac drop their latest 12" from the man behind the controls for Eight Frozen Modules - Kenneth James Gibson, who rips up the click house rule book by applying bent wizardry to his tunes. The heavy bump and grind of 'Cleanse You' is a killer cut with its crazy percussion and wild programming, but its just a warm up for the demented edits and noises of 'Since Yesterday' that's a wicked tech house cut with a lot more to it than meets the eye.'Whichy One', meanwhile, hits space funk territory with its glorified 70's funk synths in the middle, but its not all crazy, every track still retains a solid 4/4 groove and the underpinning basslines and rhythms are perfect for the club floor. Just awesome stuff from this killer label - watch out for the killer [A]pendics Shuffle twelve due imminently on Merck's shining new 'Narita' offshoot. Ace.
