DESCRIPTION:
Ed Hanley’s interest shifted from guitar to Indian percussion when he heard Allah Rakha playing a Tabla solo in a Ravi Shankar recording. Since then, life for him has been a series of eye opening lessons from Ritesh Das in Toronto to Anindo Chatterjee in Kolkata to Suresh Talwalkar in Pune. These lessons have curiously resulted in a blended repertoire of playing style!
