DESCRIPTION:
Evans HQ & Percussion sent us some of the new "Black Chrome" Drum Heads to test out prior to their release at Summer NAMM 2012. We took down the acrylic kit, and setup the Crush Sublime Bubinga kit and changed the heads from Evans G14 Coated to the new Evans Black Chrome.

I like these heads, I think they sound great, I think they look cool on this kit, and they are durable. If the look is for you, I would recommend these over Black Suedes or the Onyx heads. The Evans Black Chrome are the best black drum heads I've seen yet.
