Earl Slick, session guitarist for David Bowie, John Lennon, Ian Hunter, and The New York Dolls (to name a few), plugs in the Soundblox 2 Multiwave Distortion for some extreme riffing.

We visited Earl at the ClubHouse Recording Studio in Rhinebeck, NY (about an hour north of the city) while he put together some tracks for his upcoming solo record. The signal chain went from his signature Framus six string, to the Multiwave, to an Orange amp. The results were devastating, it's the kind of distortion that makes you concerned for the amplifier - the beautiful sound of gear pushed to its limit. Earl favors the Single Band Octave settings on the Multiwave, which give you a nice combination of foldback distortion with a vintage octave up tone.
