DESCRIPTION:
Here is a demo of my '65 Epi Comet Amplifier. Exact same as the Gibson GA-15RVT Explorer. I can see why they called this the 'Comet'. It breaks up upon contact with the earth's atmosphere! Nice, musical overdrive. The guitar is a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio with stock pickups.

The amp has the original 10" CTS speaker dated late 1965 and preamp with two 6EU7s and a 12AU7. The power tubes are 2x 6bq5s (EL84).
