DESCRIPTION:
The first showcase on March 1st had a very well known Italian net label as a guest, Homework Records.

The net label was represented by Apes on Tapes, featuring Dyami Young, great scratcher at the turntables.

Apes on Tapes are Luca and Giordano, founders of Homework label and producers who met eachother in Bologna, Italy.

The no-stop live set, that last 40 intense minutes, was amazing. They never stop playing their Mdps, producing deep beats, breaking the 4/4 structure with unique samples and superb use of effects.

In the meantime Dyami stitched a world of small and scratchy sounds on the hip hop / electronic flow made by the Apes.

The sound coming out from their new album, Foreplays, is clear, perfectly produced, groovy, it's a wall of beats and samples, vintage synths and noises.

Their WeGotHands' live set got either more aggressive and powerful.
