R.esistence in Dub project was born in 2006 in Udine (UD, Italy). The band is formed by 4 musicians with different musical influences and experiences that started to play reggae-dub music melted with classical elements of the popular tradition and with the minority language ("friulano") of their birth region.
In 2007 they purposed a first liveset in the northern Italy and won "Premi Friul", contest dedicated to the best band of the year with furlan lyrics.
In 2008 R.esistence in Dub completed the debut album " Avampuest Dub", recorded and mixed by Paolo Baldini ("Africa Unite", B.R. Stylers", "The Dub Sync"), in stores from november 2008 under the "Musiche Furlane Fuarte"/"Alambic Conspircy" label.
In August 2010 the band won the audience award at "Suns", a contest for music in minority languages that qualifies automatically R.esistence in Dub for "Liet International", European minority language song contest held in Lorient, France. The band won the audience award also at the "Liet International" contest.
In September 2010 the band published "Avampuest Dub Deluxe Edition", the debut album first reprint enriched by the singles "Unitat" and "Just Multiply".
