This November, Dispatch Recordings begins its next chapter as the highly anticipated 'Transit 2' compilation album is released. Label manager Ant TC1 has assembled an exclusive selection of cuts from both the label's established artists and some extremely talented choice newcomers. The sampler we're presenting here offers a taster of what you should expect from the full album.

Dispatch veteran Silent Witness kicks things off with 'Ballistix' - an astral adventure through the four elements with his varied musical influences audible throughout the mix. The soothing vocals and electric flutters of the intro are abruptly succeeded by frantic low-end rumbles and acid tinges, with crisp snares keeping the head nods in check. It's a stunning all-rounder and his first solo venture since the superb single "Magnetize / Run Time". Upon our first listen to "Ballistix" we knew we had to lead the entire album with this incredible track.
For the flip, Czech-based phenomenon Hybris returns after the incredible 'Gravitron EP', released earlier this year. This time he's joined by our recent label signings Quadrant & Iris plus their US counterpart, D-Struct. Collectively they've worked their magic on 'Graphene'; the anxious sirens issue a warning and contrast with the A-side; a dark, sinister feeling is imminent, developing as the drums filter into high-powered existence. The result is a deviously constructed roller, with intense bass stabs and subtle robotic snarls -- it's stripped back, straight to the point and done ever so well.
