As the peak of the summer season comes to a close and weary clubbers, Djs, and producers make their way off the island of Ibiza; a new page turns. Welcoming in the brand new autumn session of the clubbing season, Greek imprint, Rhythmetic, delivers a powerful dose of high-grade beats. The label selects a list of various artists from their satisfying roster and compiling eleven elegant tracks to make the seamless transition from warm summer sun to cool, dark autumn. Showcasing an eclectic release of tunes from ambient melodies to more jacking house rips, the label's talent of selecting only the best, shines through with an exceptional release.

Label owners Thodoris Triantafillou and CJ Jeff open up the pack with the soaring and ambient Is it true. Featuring the vocals of Benji and remixed by YokoO, the overall flow of the track is relaxing and hypnotic as weightless pads and subversive bass hits paint a portrait of otherworldly soundscapes. Danilo Giagkis tailors the second track of the compilation to bring a sophisticated deep dose of grooving house music. Full of retro inspired sounds, the track properly heightens the mood of the whole compilation as the slight progression from ambient to rooftop deep takes form. Children Of Doom step into the mix with Zombies, an acidic deep house composition with spooky vocal shouts and wobbling bass slowly growing in tension and resonance before the track drops into dance floor mayhem.

Writing the script for the opening DJ, Rhythmetic starts raising the tempo as they delve into the fourth track of the compilation. George Dexx's Vibe-Rations filters in elements of tech and perky drum hits as a minimal flow of sampling leaves the track subject to flawless swing. Brining more of a stomping and dark production, Tudor Leves & Vynal K appear on the label for the first time with a sophisticated slammer ready for the club with She's around. Sek brings up the energy as Keep tryin harder fuses elements of soulful jacking house and progressive techno. Full of energy and the typical swinging drum program that is jacking house, Sek incorporates dramatic pads and strings adding a nice twist to the track's character.

Fellow Greek talent Nick Devon gets booties shaking and heads bobbing with Hold back. Another high quality club track, its witty attitude is carried through with catchy vocal sampling and melodic bassline. Making his second appearance on the release, Thodoris Triantafillou joins forces with Freespirit to bring Game of tones. Steamy and dark, their collaboration brings simple melodies and beats together into one unforgettable production. An artist who has made a nice impact into the current clubbing community, Alex Dimou brings Intervention. His talented hand for production shines through in his addition to the compilation as a menacing acid bass line and catchy arrange take things to new heights.

Children Of Drum are back on the pack with Good luck, another darker look into club music with eerie keys and menacing bass hits. Its evil attitude is complimented with cosmic key stabs and steady percussive groove. Last but not least, as the lights on the Rhythmetic dancefloor turn on in the early morning hours as the closing tune clears the air of mayhem of the night before. 12 Tones' Too late baby provides the perfect twisted and serene atmosphere to bring down the night and end on strong note. With support for new names and continuing the legacy of some better-known producers, Rhythmetic's VA 2 compilation is a shining beacon into the unknown of the oncoming fall season. Not only does the imprint deliver new club land delights, it also sets the tone for what's to come from this impressive record label.
